Night of San Juan

As spring turns to summer, Valencia welcomes in the new season with the traditional festivities of the Night of San Juan from the evening of 23 June until sunrise the following day. Valencia’s beaches set the scene for a ritual in which fire and sea come together to make your wishes come true. On the shores of the Mediterranean, hundreds of bonfires light up the sand, where thousands of people gather to jump over the waves and spend a magical night lit by the flames of the fires.
